"Mitsubishi" marker for marking queen bees

A marker is the easiest way to apply a mark to a queen bee. Even a beekeeper marking a queen bee for the first time can manage this task. To apply the mark, simply bring the marker to the queen bee and the mark is done. There is no need to press or draw lines.

The "Mitsubishi " marker is specially designed for marking queen bees. This range of markers is distinguished by its highly durable ink, and thanks to the lacquer base the ink dries completely and the smell dissipates within a few minutes.

For easy identification of the queen bee’s age by the colour of the mark, we recommend marking according to the queen bee’s year of birth. In international beekeeping, each year corresponds to a specific colour for queen marking. There are five standard colours in total (white, yellow, red, green and blue), which repeat every five years. Many beekeepers who do not need the corresponding yearly colour on their queen bees use just one colour for marking queen bees (for example, brighter colours such as white or yellow).
