Jenter comb (Karl-Jenter)

Choosing a Jenter queen rearing setup

The Jenter system is used to rear queens without transferring larvae with a grafting tool. A kit with a cassette provides the starting point; separate cups, cup bottoms, holders and cages let you replace parts or expand an existing setup.

Compare the contents of the Jenter kits, especially the holder count, protective cages and fastening system. Quick Start and Mini are different configurations, so check the parts list on each product page before ordering.

Visit Jenter components for individual parts. Check compatibility and the manufacturer of each item rather than relying on its appearance. Successful queen rearing also depends on colony condition and how the system is used.
