Bee swarming is one of the natural processes in the life of a bee colony. To avoid losing the bees, you need to monitor them and watch where they settle after swarming. This allows you to catch the swarm and house it in a hive to strengthen the colony.

Bee swarming is especially common in hot weather. Beekeepers with a large apiary may catch more than one swarm in a day.

Swarm catching products

Catching bee swarms manually is becoming part of beekeeping history. Modern beekeepers use swarm lures and attractants. This process has become much easier with products such as:

Apiroy – designed for attracting and catching swarms in apiaries;
Uniroy - improves queen bee acceptance and is also used for catching swarms during the swarming period of bee colonies;
Sanroy – used for catching bee colonies in bait hives;
Loviriy – used to attract and catch bee colonies during swarming, helping to lure bee swarms to bait hives.
