Queen Introduction Cage

A high-quality, reliable cage for introducing a queen bee.

Instructions for use:

• To introduce a queen bee, remove the old queen from the hive or make a split 4–6 hours before introduction;
• Fill the special tube in the cage with feed (candy) and place the new queen bee in the cage;
• After some time (around 20–40 hours), the bees will remove all the feed (candy) from the cage;
• Once the feed has been removed, the bees gain access to the queen bee one by one, while she remains protected;
• Only when the queen bee feels safe will she leave the cage;

The cage is also successfully used for transporting queen bees in beekeeping.
