Round PLASTIC hive entrance disc with landing rim (4 positions, Ø80) images
Plastic round upper hive entrance disc, 8 cm in diameter, with a landing rim.
The entrance disc is shaped like a cap with raised edges. These edges act as a landing rim. This is very convenient, as the entrance has a small platform where bees can land. There is no need to nail on separate landing boards. The disc is fixed to the hive through a special hole in the centre of the plastic entrance disc.
The entrance is set to the required position by rotating it in a circle. Thanks to the protruding edges, it is easy to turn by hand, unlike flat entrance discs.
The hive entrance disc has 4 positions: ventilation, fully open, and 2 restricted entrance settings.
