"Euro" Beekeeping Hat with Protective Veil (100% cotton)
Cotton is a light yet dense material: it allows air to pass through freely while still being dense enough to help protect the beekeeper’s face from bee stings. It is strongly recommended to carry out all apiary work in protective clothing. Even a single bee sting to the beekeeper’s face or neck area can have serious consequences, including large and painful swelling.
The choice of protective clothing should be taken seriously, as it affects comfort during apiary work and therefore the beekeeper’s overall productivity. A poor-quality mask made from dense synthetic material will not allow enough air through to ensure normal circulation inside the mask.
The "Euro" veil has a special plastic frame that prevents the mask material from touching the beekeeper’s facial skin, so a bee cannot sting through it. The natural material from which it is made is also important, as it has long been known that bees respond slightly better to natural materials than to substances of artificial origin.
