Frame Wire Tensioner "Wave"

This manual wire tensioner lets you tighten the wire on old hive frames or add rigidity to new ones. When the wire is properly tensioned, beeswax foundation is embedded evenly in the frame, helping the beekeeper produce correctly shaped combs with a minimum number of drone cells.

To tension the wire, place the frame wire between the wave-shaped wheels of the "Wave" tensioner. Then simply squeeze the tensioner and run it along the wire. The wire becomes tight again, like a string.
