The Varomor smoke cannon is one of the most popular devices for treating bees with medicinal preparations. With it, you can carry out a full treatment of an entire hive in less than 10 seconds. It is most effective in the fight against varroa in bees, and is also used for preventive treatments.
When working with the smoke cannon, you should always follow personal safety measures. The vapours released by the cannon are not harmful to bees; however, for people, some preparations can affect the respiratory tract and cause considerable discomfort for the beekeeper. We recommend using a respirator, which provides basic protection when working with the smoke cannon.
If there was no respirator available in the apiary, beekeepers previously had to buy one separately, which caused some inconvenience. The same applied to purified kerosene: a beekeeper using the Varomor smoke cannon for the first time had to purchase kerosene separately.
