"Quick Start" Base for the Jenter Comb
The base is nailed with small nails to the bar on a grafting frame. This frame is prepared before queen bee rearing begins. When transferring larvae to a queenless colony for queen rearing, this base makes it easy to secure the holder with the cell cup. With the "Quick Start" bases, the entire larval transfer process takes just a few minutes, which is very important for the development of the larva itself.
