If you need to feed bees with two different types of liquid, this feeder is ideal. It has 2 separate compartments of 1.5 kg each; you can put water in one compartment and syrup in the other, or fill the feeder with one type of feed. The feeder is made from food-grade plastic. The plastic itself is quite dense, so it will easily withstand normal use. The feeder is placed in the position of a frame, so it has special side lugs that rest on the hive body. All plastic feeders have extended lugs so you can adjust the feeder precisely to your hive size. This is done with a standard file, gradually filing the lugs down to the length you need.
All inner walls of the feeder have a textured surface, making it much easier for bees to grip the sides. For weak colonies, it is recommended to use floats to help prevent bees from falling into the liquid.
