When removing cappings (zabrus) from honey frames, beekeepers use a wide range of beekeeping tools, but a simple yet effective tool such as an uncapping fork remains very popular. Many beekeepers use an uncapping fork as their only tool for uncapping honey combs. Some beekeepers also use it as an additional tool, trimming away sections of cappings that are difficult to reach with knives or automated uncapping lines.
