DOUBLE-THREAD hive cover cloth 51x51 cm

For 12-frame hives.

In beekeeping, it is used to cover the top bars of the frames and to fully close the gaps between frames. The cover cloth is propolised by the bees, helping to protect the hive from draughts and moisture, while also improving thermal insulation. It is recommended to overlock the edges of the cloth to prevent the threads from fraying. Insulation is placed on top of the cover cloth.

Double-thread fabric is a dense material similar to hessian, but thicker. The material undergoes additional processing, resulting in shrink resistance, flame resistance, increased wear resistance, water repellency and a fabric that hardly creases.
