Nicot Queen Excluder, 12-frame, 500/500 mm

The queen excluder, size 500/500 mm, is made from high-quality rigid plastic. It consists of 1,054 rectangular openings, proportionally and continuously connected to each other. The size of each opening is 4.4 mm/19 mm, allowing bees to pass through easily. The excluder is attached to plastic side strips. One is 1.2 cm wide, and the other is 2 cm wide. The Nicot excluder is made to precise dimensions.

It is quite flexible, helping to protect it from deformation or damage.

The queen excluder is used to separate the honey section from the brood section of the hive. Using it saves the beekeeper time during the honey harvest. It makes it possible to remove frames in larger quantities rather than one by one.

Please note! For cleaning, it is recommended to use hot water at temperatures up to 90°C or steam up to 110°C. With proper use and care, the excluder can be used repeatedly.
