Beehive frames are made from quality kiln-dried wood. These frames are practical and easy to use.
The frame is a key element in the hive. A great deal depends on accurate, high-quality frame manufacture. All frame dimensions in the hive must match the standard of the hives being used exactly. Even the slightest deviation from the standards can cause problems in the hive - frames may not fit, or bees may not be able to pass between the frame and the wall. For this reason, it is best to order frames from reliable manufacturers.
The beehive frame is made on modern woodworking equipment, helping to maintain and guarantee high quality and accurate dimensions for every component.
The side bars have “ears” at the top and bottom, while the bottom and top bars have special cuts for joining. All frame parts are joined using water-resistant glue and/or nails. Recently, joining with modern D3 water-resistant glue has become very popular. Once dry, this glue guarantees a reliable bond between the frame parts, but the construction is no longer dismantlable. If you try to take apart a glued frame, it breaks away from the glued joint (D3 water-resistant glue is much stronger than the wood).

All frames are made from pine. High-quality kiln drying of the material helps guarantee the high quality of the product throughout its service life.
Frames are shipped unassembled.
