The tensioner consists of two elements – a wire tensioning device
and a spool handle.
Before starting work, they must be attached to a table or any stable surface using the feet and fixing bolts. The distance between the tensioner and the spool handle should be about 10-15 cm.
The frame is placed on the upper part of the tensioner, resting against the retaining sides, as the device is angled at 45° for convenience. The tensioner is designed for frames of different sizes. It can be adjusted to the frame size using the adjustment bolt located on the right-hand side of the device structure.
The wire tensioning process is quick and produces a reliable result. Wire unwinds easily from the spool and passes through the holes in the handle onto which it is threaded. The 4 movable guide wheels on the tensioner keep it from tangling. Using the special handle at the bottom of the device, the wire can be tensioned to the firmness you need.
Important! To prevent the wire from cutting into the wood, eyelets must be used.
