Beekeeper's Jacket (Linen), Round Hat

The main advantage of linen clothing is the well-chosen natural material. Linen is highly durable, lightweight and pleasant to the touch. At the same time, linen is a sufficiently dense material, making it suitable for sewing protective beekeeping clothing.

A good-quality linen jacket has several advantages. The jacket has 3 pockets: 1 on the chest and 2 at the sides. There is also an elasticated band at the bottom of the jacket. Two metal rings are sewn inside the jacket collar. They are designed so that the round protective veil fits comfortably and sits closely against the neck opening of the jacket, without pressing on the beekeeper’s neck.

A mesh veil is sewn onto the front of the round protective hat. If needed, the mesh can be lowered without having to remove the hat completely from the head. To give the veil its shape, 2 metal rings are also sewn inside it.
