Kerosene is used with the "Varomor" smoke cannon as a solvent for treatments. Made in Ukraine.
Kerosene is used as a solvent for diluting "Bipin", "Bipin-T" and many other treatments. In some cases, beekeepers use barbecue lighting fluid or aviation kerosene instead of purified kerosene. Using such alternatives to purified kerosene can have harmful consequences. When aviation kerosene or barbecue lighting fluid is used, there is a high likelihood of sediment forming from the treatments, which in turn can negatively affect the operation of the smoke cannon itself. It should also be remembered that using poor-quality substances when treating bees risks harming the entire bee colony, and the active treatment may not work to its full effect.
One litre container of purified kerosene is enough for approximately 1000 doses. A solution prepared with it can be stored for several months.
