Gas canister for the "Varomor" gun
The canister contains liquefied gas (propane, butane). It is designed for connection to the "Varomor" smoke gun, which is used for fumigating hives in cases of Varroa infestation.
Gas canister for the "Varomor" gun
The canister must be used strictly in accordance with the instructions supplied with the "Varomor" gun. Before using the gun, it is fitted with a gas canister. To connect the canister to the gun, follow several steps. Unscrew the retaining ring of the gas canister. Turn the gas supply valve handle clockwise to close it. Insert the gas canister, convex side first, into the lower part of the gas burner body. Push the gas canister in until its body is pierced by the needle, rotating the gas canister retaining ring. A device in good working order must not allow gas leaks. The gas canister should only be replaced after the gas in the installed canister has been completely used. Gas canisters are disposable and must not be refilled. Replace the canister in a well-ventilated area, away from sources of open flame. Before replacing the canister, make sure the appliance has cooled down completely. Smoking is prohibited when replacing the canister.
Safety precautions:
- Store the canister in a place protected from direct sunlight.
- Do not allow the canister to heat above 50 C
- Keep the canister out of reach of children
Prohibited: heating, dismantling, piercing or deforming the canister, even if it is empty.
