“Taktic” is an effective preparation for controlling Varroa mites.
USING TAKTIC
Application by spraying as smoke: The preparation is distributed to treat bees for varroosis by airborne spraying in the form of smoke, so it is most effective to apply it using a Varomor.
To neutralise mites, 1–2 puffs of smoke per bee colony are sufficient.
Application using a syringe: the solution is drawn into a syringe and bee colonies are treated by trickling the emulsion in fine droplets onto the bees in the spaces between frames.
It is recommended to carry out treatment twice:
- After the honey flow and honey extraction.
- Before wintering the bees (if mites are present on adult bees)
