Beekeeping drilling machine with 4 drills (220V, 145W, 1370 rpm)

The drilling machine is used to automate the process of drilling holes in the side bars of hive frames. The drilling machine allows you to drill 4 holes in the bar in a single operation. The main advantages of the machine are fast working speed and high accuracy of all holes. All holes are drilled precisely on the same plane, making it possible to fit beeswax foundation evenly and obtain straight drawn combs. On straight combs, bees build fewer drone cells.

The machine is made from the following main components:

  • a carriage with ball guides for feeding the workpiece to the drilling mechanism;
  • a 4-head drilling mechanism with collet chucks on bearings;
  • a powerful 145W single-phase motor powered from a 220V domestic mains supply, with belt drive;

Note: when ordering, please select the required machine model at the top of the site (frame size, number of holes, etc.).

Technical specifications:

Overall product dimensions: 180x220x270 mm;
Product weight: 6.5 kg;
Motor: single-phase, 220V, 145W, 1370 rpm;
Tools used: Ø2.5 mm drill bit (4 pcs).

The distance between holes in the machine for a 230 mm frame is 55 mm, and for a 300 mm frame it is 70 mm. The universal option is the five-hole machine with a 55 mm spacing between holes, which allows holes to be drilled in 230 mm frames by making 4 holes.
