The operating principle of the device is very simple. The electric wax embedder works from a 220 V mains supply, which it transforms to 12 V at the output. Power - 20 W. The entire conversion process takes place inside the device, under a securely closed housing, unlike homemade electric wax embedders, where mistakes are often made during assembly.
Embedding beeswax foundation on one frame with the electric wax embedder will take you less than 5 seconds, depending on the temperature you set. The embedder has two contacts which are connected to the wire at different corners on different sides of the frame. A sheet of beeswax foundation is placed on the wire and the embedder is switched on. The 12 V current begins to pass through the entire wire, heating it; in the process, the sheet of beeswax foundation starts to melt and sink onto the frame. Once the wax embedder is switched off, the foundation stops melting and sets securely on the wire.
The electric wax embedder can also be used for cutting sheets of beeswax foundation. To do this, simply stretch a wire between two nails, connect the device to it, switch it on and place the sheet of beeswax foundation onto the wire; after a couple of seconds it will be neatly cut in the required place.
