Varoflu (10 strips)

Odourless wooden strips, dry in appearance, that do not harm bees. Used in beekeeping for the diagnosis, prevention and control of varroa infestation. Active substance - flumethrin (one strip contains 3.6 mg of flumethrin). Each strip is hermetically sealed in a foil polyethylene sachet.

Application and dosage:
The pack of strips should be opened immediately before use. It is recommended to treat hives in early spring, after honey extraction and in autumn. The strips should be lowered into the space between frames so that bees can move over them on both sides. Use one strip every two frames.
Dosage depends on the strength of the bee colony. For weak colonies and splits use 1-3 strips; for well-developed and strong colonies use 3-4 strips. It is recommended to keep the strips in the hive for 35 days, but for no longer than 6 weeks.

For diagnosis, cover the bottom of the hive with clean paper and place the strips for 2-3 days. Then check the hive for dead mites.

Important! Do not use during the honey harvest or at temperatures below 12°C.
