This gel paste is used by beekeepers to attract and catch honey bee swarms. The gel contains natural plant-based ingredients.
Abejar swarm attractant gel, 100 g, Spain
A preparation for attracting and catching swarms, supplied as a gel with a pleasant lemon scent. It is made from natural plant oils and an analogue of queen bee pheromone.
Directions for use:
- Prepare the bait hive or swarm trap and place it 3-5 metres above the ground in an area where honey bee swarms pass.
- Apply Abejar gel to the inner walls of the hive (swarm trap) and to the entrance.
- For 1 bait hive (trap), use 1 level tablespoon of Abejar gel.
- To prolong and strengthen the effect, the gel can be reapplied to the same bait hive after 10-15 days.
