Hessian Hive Cover Cloth (12-frame), 51x51 cm

The hive cover cloth is used to insulate the hive during the autumn and winter period. It is placed on top of the frames to cover the gaps between them. The bees then coat the cover cloth with propolis, sealing it and protecting the hive from draughts and moisture. This helps provide thermal insulation inside the hive. Hessian is a natural material and completely eco-friendly, so bees readily accept it in their hive.
