Hessian Hive Cover Cloth (Mat) for 10-Frame Hive, 45x51 cm

The cover cloth is used to insulate the hive during the autumn and winter period. It is laid on top of the frames so that the gaps between the frames are covered. The bees then coat the cover cloth with propolis, sealing it and protecting the hive from draughts and moisture. This helps provide thermal insulation inside the hive. Hessian is a natural material and completely environmentally friendly, so bees readily accept it in their hive.
