Solar Wax Melter for 2 Frames

The wax melter is used for melting down wax raw material for reuse. It is made as a rectangular stainless steel box with a glass lid. Inside there is a stainless steel tray for the wax material, as well as a stainless steel collection tray into which the melted wax flows. Metal legs are attached to the lower sides so the wax melter can be positioned at an angle. The lid has latches that allow it to close tightly. A seal is fitted around the edges of the lid so that it closes hermetically. The dimensions of the wax melter allow 2 frames of any type to be placed inside.

The main advantage of this solar wax melter is that it only requires solar energy to operate. There is no need to use gas or electricity. This is very convenient when working in migratory apiaries or in places where there is no possibility of connecting to gas or electricity. The wax melter is placed in a sunny location with access to direct sunlight. This allows the temperature inside the wax melter to reach 70-90 °C.

It is also worth noting how simple and convenient the solar wax melter is to use. The wax raw material is placed on the stainless steel tray and set inside the wax melter. The lid is closed tightly. The melted wax flows into the stainless steel collection tray. There are special openings in the side of the tray through which the melted wax is filtered, while the residues remain in the tray. You only need to monitor the filling of the collection tray and add new wax material as required.
