When extracting honey, the wax cappings are cut off the frame so that the frame can be placed in the honey extractor. A large amount of honey remains on the cappings and also needs to be extracted afterwards. The mesh has fine cells, so the honey is filtered very effectively. The size of the bag allows it to be placed in a standard honey extractor for extracting honey from cappings and comb trimmings. Special metal hooks are provided to attach the filter bag inside the honey extractor cassette. The bag is easy to wash when required. It can be used repeatedly.
