Original holder for a cell cup with a larva. Used in the Nicot system for queen bee rearing or for producing royal jelly.
Buying cell cup holders in larger quantities is convenient for beekeepers who rear queen bees and want to expand the functionality of the standard Nicot system.
Purchasing a bag (100 pcs) of cell cup holders is much better value than buying them individually.

The holders are attached to bases fixed on the grafting bar, then the cell cups with larvae are placed into the holders. A Nicot “bigoudi” protective cage can also be fitted to this holder. The external size of the holder allows standard protective cages from the Nicot system to be used. The mature queen cell, inside the protective cage with the holder, is then placed in an incubator, a queenless colony, or a nucleus hive (nuc).
Hot water can be used to clean parts of the Nicot system, but please note that wax melts at 65°C, and the plastic used in the Nicot comb may deform at 75°C (according to the manufacturer, Nicot, France).
