The entrance disc has three positions: hive entrance open, hive entrance closed and ventilation. This fitting can be used to protect bees from pests, and also when transporting the hive. It attaches to the hive using a nail or a screw. For this in the centre of the hive entrance disc there is a hole. By rotating the disc of the entrance you can change its positions.
