Decrystalliser for plastic container (60 L)
A decrystalliser is a device that should be in every beekeeper’s equipment range. The first reason for this is its ability to quickly decrystallise honey in containers of various sizes. This decrystalliser model is designed for liquefying honey in a 60 litre plastic container. After decrystallisation, the honey has an attractive appearance. Filling and packing liquid honey is much more convenient than working with crystallised honey. The honey decrystalliser works on the principle of “gentle” heating of the container holding the honey. Heating too quickly, or exceeding the honey heating temperature, can lead to undesirable consequences. A honey liquefying process that does not follow the correct procedure can cause significant harm to the microorganisms contained in the honey. When using a decrystalliser, you will not encounter this situation thanks to the design of the device.
The decrystalliser automatically maintains a constant temperature of no more than 40 °C. The time required to liquefy honey depends on the variety, but on average takes 24-48 hours. After this time, the honey in the heated container will be fully decrystallised.
