12-frame expanded polystyrene Dadant + Super hive, for 2 colonies

The main feature of this hive is that the beekeeper can use it to keep either one bee colony or two at the same time.

The hive is divided by a special partition (an expanded polystyrene divider board) into 2 colonies, and the hygienic hive floor is also divided into 2 sections with separate pull-out trays for each bee colony.

The 35 mm thick expanded polystyrene material provides excellent thermal insulation and, as a result, a comfortable microclimate inside the hive all year round.

The crownboard design allows 2 bee feeders to be placed there.

To make the hive construction stronger, the rebates of the boxes, floor and crownboard are made of plastic.

Painted and unpainted hives are available. It is recommended to coat an unpainted hive with a special paint so that it is more resistant to external factors.

The hive consists of 5 parts:

• Expanded polystyrene hygienic floor;
• Dadant brood box;
• Crownboard;
• Super box;
• Roof with ventilation openings.

The delivery set also includes a partition (divider board), an entrance reducer with a slide, and two types of plugs: black plastic ventilation plugs and white trapezoidal expanded polystyrene plugs (blanking plugs).
