New model of expanded polystyrene hive - a 12-frame hive with a hygienic floor for keeping one bee colony. Length - 520 mm, width - 520 mm, height - 730 mm.

The main advantage of an expanded polystyrene hive is its high level of thermal insulation. The material itself - expanded polystyrene, and in particular the hive wall thickness of 35mm, provide a comfortable microclimate throughout the year.
The crownboard design allows 2 bee feeders to be placed there.
To make the hive construction stronger, the rebates of the brood boxes, floor and crownboard are made of plastic.
In the UkrBee online store you can choose a painted or unpainted hive. Unpainted hives are recommended to be coated with special paint so that they are more resistant to external factors.
The hive consists of 5 parts:
- Expanded polystyrene hygienic floor;
- Dadan brood box;
- Crownboard;
- Super box;
- Roof with ventilation holes.
The delivery set also includes an entrance reducer with a slide, and plugs of two types: black plastic ventilation plugs and white trapezoid expanded polystyrene plugs (blanking plugs).
