“Plus” Uncapping Fork-Cultivator for Honeycombs
The fork with a wooden handle is made from food-grade stainless steel. The uncapping section has 1 row of needles and 1 row of teeth. The angle of the needles is adjusted using special screws located on the sides of the fork-cultivator section. Each beekeeper can set the needles at the angle that is most convenient for uncapping honeycombs.
When uncapping combs with the fork-cultivator, hold it with the needles facing you. Work with smooth movements, drawing it towards you along the frame to remove the wax cappings. In hard-to-reach areas, use the additional row of teeth, working as with a standard uncapping fork.
