Hive Carrier (Folding)

The design consists of a metal frame, bolted together in the middle so it can be folded. The ends of the frame serve as the carrier handles. Special foam grips are fitted to the handles. They are soft and comfortable, and sit securely in the hand. Crossbars - holders - are welded to the handles. The crossbar also has foam pads, which help secure the hive and prevent it from slipping. The foam pads on the holders can be moved to adjust them to suit a hive of any size.

How to use the hive carrier:

The carrier is placed over the hive body from above so that the crossbars (holders) are level with the middle of the lower hive body, and the centre of the carrier is curved downwards. When lifted, the carrier frame flexes and the holders firmly clamp the walls of the hive body. Under the weight of the hive, the grip between the holders becomes stronger. In this position, it is convenient to carry the hive over any terrain.

It can be used to carry both 6-frame and 12-frame hives. The hive carrier can also be used to move hive bodies. Using the special bolts on the frame, the carrier can be fixed in place. The carrier can be dismantled for convenient storage and transport.
