Hive Numbers

Hive numbers are small numbered plates for identifying bee colonies in the apiary.

Hive number plates are made from PVC plastic. They are produced as rectangular plates measuring 30 x 50 mm, with a thickness of 3 mm. The front side is covered with a glossy green film, and the digits are white (without film). The plates are numbered from 1 to 100.

There are 2 white dots on the sides of each number plate, marking where to nail the number onto the hive. A nail goes easily into polyvinyl chloride plastic . This material ensures that the number plate will not crack during fixing. When moving a bee colony, it can easily be removed and nailed onto a new hive again.
