Manjing Strips (20 pcs)

Manjing strips are used to control varroa mites and for preventive treatment. They contain the active substance flumethrin, which has a lethal effect on parasites.

Recommendations for use

The best time to treat hives against varroa mites with WANG'S MANJING is in spring before the insects start breeding, or in autumn after the honey harvest. Treatment is more effective if the product is placed in the hive in the first half of the day in warm weather. Hives can be treated at temperatures not lower than 15°!

The strips are impregnated with a strong-acting flumethrin preparation and give off a slight specific odour. For effective full mite control, one strip is intended for one colony.

Use of the product depends on the level of mite infestation - 1/4 - 1 / 2 of the product. Cut the strips along the pattern shown on them and place them at different edges of the hive.

Keep the product between the frames for 7-10 days, then hang another strip and leave it for 28 days.

If the mite infestation is high, keep the strip in the hive for more than 4 weeks.

To avoid any harmful effect of the product on bees, place it near the hive entrance or near the queen excluder and turn it over after 2-3 days.

Small colonies can be given one strip, divided into 2 parts.

WANG'S MANJING affects the mite through contact and stomach toxicity, causing its death within half an hour after placement in the hive.

The product does not cause any harm to bees.

Warning! The medicated strips should remain in the hive for no longer than 8 weeks. Always test the product on several bee colonies (2-3) before treating the whole apiary.

Storage

Store in a cool, dark place out of reach of children. Tightly close any unused strips in the pack. Do not store near food products. Storage temperature - from 0 to 25 °C.
