Nicot Cell Cup Strip Holder

Used in beekeeping with Nicot strips for collecting royal jelly.

The holder is used to attach a strip with Nicot cell cups to a grafting bar. Larvae in the cell cups, aged 6-24 hours, are transferred for queen rearing to starter/finisher bee colonies. For collecting royal jelly, close spacing of the cell cups is permitted. The holder saves the beekeeper from complicated work with melted wax or wire. Larvae are transferred in strips of 11 cell cups by inserting them into the Nicot holder. The holder is used with Nicot cell cups in strips.

The holders are 16mm wide. They are made from high-quality food-grade plastic with European certification.

Hot water can be used to clean parts of the Nicot system, but please note that wax melts at 65°C, and the plastic used in the Nicot system may deform at 75°C (according to the manufacturer, Nicot, France).
