Opalith Queen Marking Discs

Opalith marking discs are used for marking queen bees. They have a convenient round, domed shape. The discs are packed in small bottles of 65 pieces. They are small, but thanks to their long-lasting bright colour, they make it easy to find the queen bee quickly.

The disc can be attached using special glue. To speed up the process, use a double-ended spatula for applying marking discs and glue. An opalith marking disc does not cause the insect discomfort and stays securely in place for a long time.

After applying the disc, the queen bee should be placed in a cage for a short time. This step is not essential, but is recommended to allow the glue to dry properly and the smell to dissipate.
