Zander Queen Isolation Cage

This cage is designed to fully isolate the queen bee from contact with other bees or queens. It is ideal for introducing a queen bee into a new colony. The cage is designed to hold candy feed for the queen bee. The feed is placed in a cell cup, which is fixed to the bottom of the isolator with wax. The front and rear walls of the cage are made as grids, allowing the queen bee to get plenty of fresh air while preventing other bees from reaching her.

Placing the queen bee into the Zander cage is very easy: simply remove the plug from the top of the isolator and introduce the queen bee through the opening, or slide one of the cage grids aside. One wall opens to allow you to fix the cell cup with candy feed inside the isolator.

The Zander cage is made entirely from food-grade plastic and is safe for the queen bee while she is in isolation.
