Anyone using a honey extractor during honey extraction should know that, when placing honey frames in the honey extractor, it is important to keep them balanced. This means that frames of approximately the same weight should be positioned opposite each other. This arrangement of honey frames greatly reduces imbalance during honey extractor operation and lowers the risk of wear on its parts. To accurately determine frame weight, we recommend using a hanging scale, which lets you check a frame’s weight in just a couple of seconds.

The maximum load on the scale must not exceed 40 kilograms. The hanging scale includes a range of useful options: weight hold function, tare-free weighing, and automatic shut-off. For your convenience, you can switch measurement units (Kg, Lb, Oz, Jin) during weighing; the electronics will automatically convert all values. This type of device will never sit unused at the apiary: the minimum weight detected by the scale is 10 grams, so it can be used for weighing various packets of treatments, propolis, and so on.
