Hive entrance gate Portal 150 mm with lower landing board

Purpose

The Portal 150 mm hive entrance gate is installed on the lower hive entrance and helps regulate bees leaving the hive. The fold-down landing board provides a convenient landing surface for bees returning to the hive.

Design

• Green plastic body with mounting holes.
• Fold-down lower landing board.
• Movable beige slide with passage openings and ventilation openings.
• In the closed position, the landing board acts as an entrance cover.

Installation

The entrance gate is mounted on the hive bottom or body so that the hive exit is centered over the landing board. Mounting holes are provided in the body of the gate.
