The Anti-Varroa Smoker electric anti-varroa bee smoker is an improved product. The first prototype varroa smoker was designed back in 1989 in Serbia by the company "Pchelin Do". Thanks to its ease of use and high efficiency, the improved model became an indispensable tool for many beekeepers in Serbia, and later spread worldwide.
The main purpose of the "Varrojet" bee smoker is the treatment and prevention of varroa mite infestation in bees, with high performance rates of up to 98%. Smoke containing treatment substances (vapour) is introduced into the hive through the entrance block.
Using this tool offers many advantages:
• easy to maintain;
• can be used with all types of hives;
• suitable for use with any treatment preparations (amitraz (Bipin), flumethrin or fluvalinate);
• full dosage control;
• the beekeeper is protected from smoke;
• a safe method for determining the level of hive infestation;
• extremely high efficiency per unit of time (around 10 seconds per hive);
• long service life of the device (at least three years when working with an apiary of 100 hives).
Varrojet is driven by a micromotor powered by 2 AA 1.2-1.5V batteries (batteries not included).
