Scissor-Type Queen Bee Catcher

The scissor-type queen bee catcher is a tool used by beekeepers to catch the queen bee inside the hive.

It is used for several purposes:

- replacing the queen bee in the hive;

- collecting royal jelly;

- preventing swarming;

- simple control and care of the queen bee;

The compartment where the queen bee is held has ventilation holes to allow air flow. At the ends, the queen catcher has holes (scissor-like rings) for a more comfortable grip.
