"Rhombus" Bee Escape
Bee escapes are becoming increasingly popular among beekeepers. After trying a bee escape in practice, beekeepers appreciate how easy and quick it makes removing honey frames for honey extraction.
The bee escape is usually installed the night before honey extraction. It should be fitted between the honey super and the brood section of the hive. The entrances in the honey supers are closed. Bees pass through the openings into the brood part of the hive and remain there. The next day, the honey supers can be removed without spending effort on inspection. Usually, with the help of a bee escape, bees almost completely leave the honey supers.
