Apiflum (50 strips) for varroa
50 cardboard strips for the prevention and treatment of bees affected by Varroa destructor mites. One strip contains the active substance: flumethrin 3.6 mg (+/-10%) and excipients.
Active substance – flumethrin 3.6 mg (+/-10%)
Dosage:
One strip per 4 brood frames. 6 days after installing the strips, carry out a visual inspection. If a strip is missing or damaged, it must be replaced; this will prolong the action of the strip and destroy the mite. The strip should remain in the hive for at least 30 days.
For normally developed bee colonies, the cardboard strips are placed between frames 3-4 and 7-8 and left in this position until the first visual inspection. Use 2 strips for 8-10 brood frames; in multi-box hives, 2 strips should also be installed in each box.
Treatment recommendations:
- In early spring (after the first cleansing flight) or late autumn (after honey has been removed from the hives), at a temperature of not less than 10°C.
