The intelligent Hub control panel is the key element of the Ajax security system. The device monitors all Ajax detectors and instantly sends an alarm signal to the owner and to the alarm receiving centre.
Hub is the central device in the Ajax security system, coordinating the operation of connected devices and communicating with the user and the security company. The device is designed for indoor installation.
The Hub requires internet access to connect to the Ajax Cloud server - for setup, control from anywhere in the world, event notifications and software updates. Personal data and detailed system operation logs are stored under multi-level protection, while information is exchanged with the hub via an encrypted channel around the clock.
To communicate with Ajax Cloud, the system uses a wired Ethernet connection and the GSM network of a mobile operator.
Where possible, use both internet connection channels. This will provide a more reliable connection between the hub and Ajax Cloud and protect against failures in one of the communication providers.
The Hub can be controlled via the "Ajax Security System" app for iOS and Android smartphones. The mobile apps allow you to respond quickly to security system notifications.
