Mated Carnica queen bee. One of the most time-tested lines of German selection, developed at the Celle Institute (Germany). The queen bee is calm and has a low tendency to swarm.

This type is known for its calm temperament and for staying well on the frame. With quality breeding, the beekeeper will not need protective clothing, a veil or smoke when working with them. Other qualities of the line are not as consistent. All traits are fully passed on only when breeding a pure strain. In practice, it has been proven that mating with any subtypes provides the most stable results.
Swarming tendency is very low. Up to the age of 3 years, it does not swarm.
Development is gradual, with the colony reaching its greatest strength in the first month of summer. Working with honey supers is recommended.
