Honeycomb uncapping fork-cultivator with wooden handle (Ukraine)
Beekeepers use various tools to uncap comb on frames before extracting honey. Some prefer to cut off the cappings with a knife, while others find it more convenient to use a honeycomb uncapping fork.
The fork is made from food-grade stainless steel and has a wooden handle. Special screws are located on the sides of the fork to adjust the angle of the needles. Although the fork looks like a complex technical device, it is actually very easy to use. All you need to do is set a comfortable needle angle using the adjustment screws. Then, holding the fork by the handle, draw it smoothly towards you along the frame and remove the cappings.
