Natural beeswax candles can be used not only for religious services. A burning beeswax candle creates a pleasant atmosphere in the home and gives a feeling of calm and comfort. Beeswax contains essential oils, resins and propolis. These substances are harmful to the many harmful microbes found in flats and homes.
Several centuries ago, a special numbering system for beeswax candles was introduced, using numbers from 6 to 140. This number shows how many candles were made from one pound (400 g) of wax. The smaller the number, the thicker and heavier the candle.
The candle has a pleasant waxy honey aroma.
