The tube has a very simple yet practical design. The queen bee is placed into the transparent chamber and gently moved with the plunger towards the top of the chamber. Special openings are located there, allowing the beekeeper to mark the queen bee with a marker pen or marking labels. The openings are designed so that the queen bee cannot pass through them and remains inside the chamber during the procedure. The soft foam plunger gently and carefully presses the queen bee against the perforated lid without causing harm.
